SeamlessWebber of the Week: Adrian

Every Thursday, a different SeamlessWeb customer tells us all about how he or she orders from the site. This week brings us Adrian who has what only we might call a healthy obsession with SeamlessWeb.

SeamlessWebber of the Week - Adrian

Name: Adrian

Age: 31

Occupation: Marketing for the Time magazine website

How and When Did You Discover SeamlessWeb? My friend suggested it when we were watching TV, and I have to admit I was skeptical of how much she was raving about it. If I could go back in time and change one thing, it would be to slap myself for ever questioning her judgment or the glory that is SeamlessWeb.

Where Do You Use SW? I have used it at work and at friends’ apartments, but it goes from luxury to necessity at my house, where my fridge contains condiments, Brita water, and a reminder of how to spell “Seamless.”

Favorite Kind of Food: I’d like to say that it’s something sophisticated like “Southeast Pan-Asian New Zealand Fusion,” but I think the nightly pizza orders would beg to differ. (Ed: Maybe it’s sophisticated pizza?)

Least Favorite Kind of Food: Vegetables (Yes, I am the real life version of Tom Hanks in Big. Thank you for asking.)

Favorite Place(s) to Order From on SW? Hmm, that’s tough…like trying to pick my favorite episode of 30 Rock. I guess I would have to say Lyric Diner because there are no judgments or funny looks when I order everything I need for my revolutionary high carb diet late at night.

Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? Hmm, that’s tough…like trying to pick my least favorite episode of New York Goes to Work on VH1. Seriously, how is that woman still allowed on TV? Wait, what was the question again? Oh yeah, I don’t like calling restaurants because they always get the order wrong and I feel like I’m being yelled at.

Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? I tried to write a blog called “No one likes blogs,” but no one liked it. I don’t know whether that’s ironic or just sad. (Ed: You could argue that it proved your point. I, however, do like blogs, disproving your point…)

Favorite Celebrity Chef? The Swedish Chef from The Muppets.

Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? The Simpsons. (Ed: Care to take a lie detector test about this?)

What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? Flying…or the ability to play Nintendo Wii and order SeamlessWeb as a full time occupation. (Ed: The second one is definitely achievable. It’s called the superpower of extreme wealth.)

In the Past Year, What’s the Latest You’ve Stayed Up and Why? This is a loaded question for me since I stay up too late on a regular basis. As long as you agree not to show anyone at work, I will admit to staying up until 5:30 AM a couple weekends ago to eat hot dogs and cheese fries after my friend’s birthday party. I’m not proud of it, but I have a weakness for liquid cheese.

Plans for Tonight? I know it sounds like I’m trying too hard, but I am legitimately going to watch Netflix and order SeamlessWeb while resting up for my birthday weekend. It’s socially acceptable to throw yourself a birthday party at any age, right? (Ed: Adrian was paid only a small sum to participate this week. Ok, Adrian was paid no sum.)
