SeamlessWebber of the Week: Kelly

Every Thursday, a different SeamlessWeb customer tells us all about how he or she orders from the site. This week’s Webber is Kelly, a cupcakes and computers kind of gal.

SeamlessWebber of the Week - Kelly Real

Name: Kelly

Age: 24

Occupation: Product Development and Community Manager for Cartoon Doll Emporium

How and When Did You Discover SeamlessWeb? Actually, it’s almost my two year anniversary of discovering SeamlessWeb! I was at work, looking for a place to order online because I don’t get a lunch break and don’t like to talk to people on the phone that I don’t know. I’m weird like that (Ed: Actually a lot of people share your phone phobia!) and thankfully, SeamlessWeb came to my rescue like a knight in shining armor. MY HERO!

Where Do You Use SW? At my office, mostly. My co-worker Jim and I are SeamlessWeb-aholics and we order every single day. We squeal with excitement when a new restaurant is added to our area and literally jump out of our seats with joy when the delivery man knocks on the door with our lunch. We’re basically silent the rest of the day.

Favorite Kind of Food: Mexican or Thai. But mostly cupcakes, especially Open Source Cupcakes.

Least Favorite Kind of Food: Mushrooms and olives.

Favorite Place(s) to Order From on SW? Westway Diner (Waffle Fries FTW!) and Bread Factory Cafe. And Amadeus Pizza. And anywhere that has the large bottle of Poland Spring water. And Atomic Wings. Wingz are my life.

Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? They’re usually extremely rude and put you on hold forever. And they never, EVER get your order right.

Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? Funny story actually…at my job I kind of am internet famous. My name is fierycupcake (Ed: Looks something like this.) and the kids look up to me and think I’m awesome. They draw me things and tell me how cool I am every day. I even have my own webshow and there are virtual avatar items of me so they can dress up like me! Watch out Hannah Montana!

Favorite Celebrity Chef? Choosing a favorite celebrity chef is like choosing a favorite Beatles song. It’s just way too hard. Some of my favorites are Bobby Flay, Alton Brown, Tom Colicchio, and Gordon Ramsay. And my dad. My dad isn’t a celebrity chef, but he should be. That dude can cook.

Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? Anything on Nickelodeon. Rocko’s Modern Life, Hey Arnold, Tiny Toons, Rugrats; you name it, I loved it. (Ed: How about The Adventures of Pete & Pete? I loved that one.)

What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? The ability to make a robotic cupcake army appear by my side at any time. (Ed: To defeat the enemy with sweetness and sugar?)

In the Past Year, What’s the Latest You’ve Stayed Up and Why? Honestly, the two nights I stayed up the latest this year were work-related. Our company was putting out a CD-ROM and I pulled two all-nighters all by myself to make sure that everything was ready for the deadline. (Ed: Wait, people still make CD-ROMs?)

Plans for Tonight? Go home, catch up on Top Chef and Hell’s Kitchen, play some video games, make some tacos, and spend entirely too much time tweeting about it!
