Every week, a different SeamlessWeb customer tells us about how he or she orders food online. This week we have Bianca, a “small girl” with a big SeamlessWeb appetite:
First Name: Bianca
Age: 26
Occupation: Co-Founder of Small Girls PR
How and When Did You Discover SeamlessWeb? My boyfriend, Jacob, got me into it about 2 years ago because he doesn’t like having to talk to people on the phone to order food. I’ve been completely addicted. It’s so much easier than having to rifle through menus, search for restaurants around the area that may or may not be open, then pick up the phone and talk to someone.
SeamlessWeb is one of the best things to happen in my life.
Where Do You Use SW? At home, at work, at my friends’ apartments. Pretty much anywhere I am and want to order food. Jacob and I use SeamlessWeb together a lot– on his account, on my account. Sometimes he lets me order from his account even when I’m not with him. Like he’s buying me lunch. Super romantic, I know. <3 <3 (Ed: Well we think that IS very romantic!)
Favorite Kind of Food: Candy. Specifically cotton candy. Oh and cake! I’m really into diner food or food you could get at a fair, like corndogs, popcorn, chicken fingers, & lil burgers. I also really love sushi…and meatloaf.
Least Favorite Kind of Food: The yucky kind? Hmmm…I can’t handle spicy foods, therefore I do not like them. :(
Favorite Place(s) to Order From on SW? Bully’s in the East Village! Jacob and I order from there practically every other day. We’ve never actually been IN Bully’s, which is by choice. We like that it’s our SeamlessWeb place, so we agreed not to go in and eat at the physical restaurant to keep the mystery alive. We can only order from Bully’s.
If I’m at work in Williamsburg, I like ordering from Pop’s and Peter’s. Pop’s has the best fun food ever– chili cheese dogs, root beer floats, corn, onion rings. Peter’s has an AMAZING lunch special. You can get an entree with two sides, soup, and a cornbread muffin for less than $10.
Least Favorite Thing About Calling Restaurants? People being rude or taking down your order wrong.
Closest Previous Brush with Internet Fame? My PR company was recently in a featured in Details Magazine (and on the Details website) about our co-working space The Makery. Something about internet and entrepreneurs. I’ve also been featured on fashion sites Aprizi.com and the Ann Taylor blog. Sometimes my photo appears on the main page of the Village Voice website for some of their event photo galleries, and people recognize me and text me about it. There was that other time in Time Out New York… ;)
However…being SeamlessWebber of the Week is what I’m most excited about!! (Ed: Somebody’s been busy. But somebody also knows where her priorities lie!)
Favorite Celebrity Chef? Sam Mason! I met him a long time ago at a rising stars chef convention, then it turned out that we know some of the same people. I’ve been in an extra on his show Dinner With the Band, the last two seasons (as someone who watches the band, not as a band that he gets to cook for). Apparently he’s considered ‘the rock n’ roll hipster chef.’ Which I can totes agree on- he’s got mad tattoos and is totally badass.
Favorite Cartoon Growing Up? My Little Pony and Batman: The Animated Series (I can’t pick between the two) (Ed: But they’re soooo similar!)
What Superpower Do You Wish You Had? The ability to kick some major ass- like straight up super fighting skillz. Or blow glitter from my hands…like how Poison Ivy does with poisonous plant fumes…but with glitter (and not poisonous, just fun). That would be a fantastic power to have at parties. It would be like Studio 54 everywhere.
In the Past Year, What’s the Latest You’ve Stayed Up and Why? 11 AM? Does not sleeping at all count as staying up late? After the party is the after party…and then another after party… (Ed: Isn’t there a hotel lobby involved somewhere too?)
Plans for Tonight? Closing out NY Fashion Week with Milk Studios parties!
E-mail us at thedeliverybag@seamlessweb.com if you’d like to be the next Webber of the Week or if you’d like to suggest a friend!
