Seamless Restaurant Staff Picks: Something Sweet

Seamless Restaurant Staff Picks: Something Sweet

We pride ourselves as being pretty food knowledgeable. We’re all about it, whether it’s eating it, talking about it, or ordering it, we’re experts at food (at least we think so). And, we’ve all got our favorites for different cuisines and flavors. It’s high time we share some of those with you. Today, we’ve got a little “Something Sweet” for you!

Elliott B. (Partner Marketing Manager): Oh thank the sweet god of pastries for delivering on to us such deliciousness. The cupcakes at Butter Lane in Manhattan are so good I find myself inventing holidays just so I can celebrate with large quantities of cupcakes and not feel bad.  And yes, their Banana Sea Salted Chocolate Cupcake is the perfect way to celebrate National Saved By the Bell Day on Jan 16th.

Sam L. (B2B Marketing Associate): It’s hard to find a dessert that’s a match for my serious sweet tooth – but the s’mores cupcake Lulu’s Sweet Shoppe in Boston seems to do it. The fluffy chocolate cupcake, topped with the gooeyness of the marshmallow and chocolate frosting, sprinkled with crunchy graham cracker shavings makes us a match made in dessert heaven.

Joe H. (Recruiter): The rumors are true: Margaret Palca Bakes has the best rugelach in Brooklyn.  Hands down.  You can’t go wrong with any of the flavors, but take my advice and try the raspberry variety with a cup of coffee.  Your taste buds will thank you.

Ben B. (LA Sales Consultant): I can never eat at Plaisir Bakery & Café in LA and not order the Crepe Nutella and Banana. The crepe itself tastes so fresh and fluffy and with Nutella and Banana wrapped inside it becomes the perfect treat for my sweet tooth.
