Seamless Restaurant Staff Picks: Something Veggie
We pride ourselves as being pretty food knowledgeable. We’re all about it, whether it’s eating it, talking about it, or ordering it, we’re experts at food (at least we think so). And, we’ve all got our favorites for different cuisines and flavors. It’s high time we share some of those with you. Today, we’ve got a little “Something Veggie” for you. And, as veggies cross all cuisines, Healthy, Sandwiches, Chinese, or American – it’s all seriously veggie!
Jakub D. (Chicago Sales Consultant): Vegetarian Express in Chicago provides a wide variety of delicious meals with meat alternative options. I particularly love the vegetable stir fry; a dish with a large a mix of nutritious vegetables– zucchini, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, etc. The taste of the vegetables is complimented by a delicious curry and ginger rice. The addition of a protein, I chose soy chicken but there is also the option of tofu or seitan, makes this meal perfectly filling and satisfying!
Ali Y. (Designer): If I’m in the mood for something that’s not Dig Inn’s peanut butter dream shake, their organic baked tofu build-your-own-meal is my go-to. I’m a big veggie fan, so get a “healthy meal base” of brown rice, and add-on brussel sprouts, steamed spinach, mushrooms and guac (no sauce needed!).
Layne C. (Marketing Manager): Sawadee is a MUST DO for Chinese in Jersey City! About once a week, I order Chinese and after trying nearly every option in Jersey City, this place is hands down the best. A side from their General Tso’s Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice, their spicy green beans are out of this world! The balance of the spice to the crisp of the green beans is PERFECT.
I honestly can’t eat Chinese from anywhere else – Stop reading, Order Now!
Brian S. (San Francisco Sales Consultant): What I love about the Power Source Juice Bar (in San Francisco) Lunch Box is that not only do you get your sandwich or wrap, but you get a little snack that you can save for later. I’m partial to the carrots and hummus myself, but if I’m looking for a bit more protein, I’ll go with apples and peanut butter.
