5 Favorite Chicken Soups to Fight Flu Season

Flu season has arrived and is striking with vengeance. If you happen to have contracted the nasty flu, we’re so sorry, but we’re here to help! While Seamless can’t deliver you a z-pack, we can help you with the next best thing… Chicken Soup! With noodles, a matzoh ball, or both, there’s just nothing quite like it. Here are some our favorite spots for ordering and delivering Chicken Soup in NYC:

Mrs. K’s Matzo Ball Soup from Kutsher’s

1. Kutsher’s Tribeca

2. Mile End Sandwich

3. Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen

4. Katz’s Delicatessen

5. Cozy Soup & Burger

Honorable Mention: Sarge’s Deli

While they have been unfortunately knocked out of business due to a devastating fire, their Souper Soup has helped us through many a cold.

What are your favorite chicken soups during the winter?

The chicken in a pot from Second Ave Deli was always good, though I haven’t had it in a few years. My favorite was Mama Leah’s which disappeared a few years ago. Their secret was fresh dill. They did write a cookbook with the recipe as well found many places online.
